We want to inform you of the measures we are taking during the COVID-19 pandemic to best ensure the safety of our patients, families and staff.
Effective immediately, and until further notice, our scheduling has changed:
- 9am to 1pm – Well-patient office visits only
- 2pm to 4:30pm – Sick-patient office visits only
This means during our well hours, no scheduled patients or accompanying adults or children will be allowed in the office with symptoms of any illness. If a patient or caregiver is experiencing illness symptoms, you will be asked to schedule an appointment during our sick-patient office hours.
If you have any questions about this policy, or what the most appropriate type of appointment is for your child, please call our office to speak to one of our nurses.
Please be aware that we are taking additional safety measures in the office:
- All surfaces in each exam room will be thoroughly disinfected after each patient.
- Our nurses and physicians will wear additional personal protective equipment. Please discuss this with your child ahead of your visit if you feel it will help alleviate any anxiety. We are still your same caring providers behind our masks and gowns!
There are still many questions about testing, treatment and isolation for the COVID-19 virus. Many of the answers to these questions are changing day by day and hour by hour. We are staying on top of information and hope to be a source of accurate information for you and your family. Please call with questions and remember that it is important to call our office and speak to a nurse before arriving for an office visit.
Most of all, please be patient with everyone you come in contact with as we all do our best to get through this challenging time. Per CDC guidelines, practice smart social distancing and WASH YOUR HANDS.
